Photo-a-day #85: March 26, 2014 - Punch Brothers, as a fan

After photographing around 100 bands the last few years, it's weird to go to a show as just a fan. Sara and I sat up in the balcony and enjoyed the sold-out Punch Brothers show today--in a venue 3x as big as the last time they played in Madison.

This is a far cry from the proximity that I typically photograph! As a comparison, here is a photo I shot of lead Chris Thile 2.5 years ago... While fun to enjoy a show w/out the camera (well, I still had a camera...), I am spoiled with the access I get w/ my photo pass. Excellent show as always!
