Funny how dogs usually know when they did something wrong. And then they also know, when YOU know when they did something wrong. This is the look that Pepe gives when he knows he's in for it--backed into a corner, tail tucked, saying "oh no...".

In the case for this picture, he didn't actually do anything wrong! He also makes this identical pose whenever you pop bubble wrap. Sorry Pepe! I guess he'll never make it as a hunting dog.
