The MxBx show spilled into a new day, and thus, this picture of the band throwing down on stage (yes, the guitar player is wearing a surgical mask--it's very Tokyo of him).

This show was also the first time I used my Canon 7D as a weapon. I don't mind a mosh pit (usually enjoy them, actually) but if you are too drunk to stand and target the photographer, then you are going to get a camera to the head. The shots of the band were a little easier after that, when those around knew I was all business (and I got cheers from those who were also annoyed by that guy).

This is the 4th time I've seen Melt-Banana live in Madison, the first dating way back to 1995 when they opened for Mr. Bungle, which blew everyone's mind.
