Many people eat fast-food simply because it's cheap. Though not always easy, it is possible to not pack a lunch and eat healthy for minimum coin.

This $5.01 lunch, (bought at the Blue Plate Catering in my building), has a good variety and is healthy. Chicken noodle soup, 2 hard-boiled eggs, 1/2 turkey sandwich and 1/2 pint of skim milk all for $5.01 (or $5, since I used $.01 from the penny tray).
