For weeks, tents and campers have been outside of the Madison, Wisconsin Capitol in what has been called 'Walkerville' by protesters. The name comes from "Hooverville" when during the Great Depression, people who lost their homes and fortunes were forced to live in make-shift housing.

The difference here, is that in Madison, the people are staying in tents not out of necessity, but out of protest to Governor Walker's policies. This has conservatives calling the encampment 'entitletown'.

This picture is an 3-shot HDR with some of the tents that are allowed to stay up permanently. The other over-night tents are allowed up only after 9pm. Will be interesting to see how long the tents will stay up throughout the budget approval process.
